Village of Cardington, Ohio

The Village of Cardington has significantly decreased the amout of water lost from a high of 51.6% monthly average of water loss in 2005 to a low of 6.98% in October 2009.  The improvements to the water system through the water line replacement projects have made a significant difference in improving Cardington's water system.  These capital improvement projects have also improved the quality of the water, decreased the number and severity of water leaks, and enhanced fire protection capabilities.  Overall these improvements will save the water department money and decreased the amount of treated water lost.
